Kilrush Golf Club is a member-run parkland course on the west Clare coast, with roots that reach back to the 1930s. The club began as a seasonal nine-hole layout and, following land purchases and development through the late 20th century, now presents an 18-hole course laid out by Dr Arthur Spring in the 1990s. The present clubhouse was built in 2001, replacing the earlier farmhouse facility. Over decades members have planted and managed trees and course improvements, and the club retains an active junior programme and strong local involvement.
