Ballyheigue Castle Golf Course in Kerry was opened in 1996. The nine hole golf club in Kerry is situated on mature woodland surrounding the Eighteenth Century castle in Ballyheigue. The course is situated 8 miles from Tralee Golf Club and 10 miles from Ballybunion Golf Club. The castle was built on a phased basis by the Crosbies and subsequently owned by the Leen family, Ballyheigue.

With majestic views of the Wild Atlantic Ocean and the nearby Reeks mountain range, which is home to the highest mountain in Ireland, Dooks Golf Links offers a visual feast of scenery at the edge of Dingle Bay as well as a technical challenge for all golfers.

Our 9 Hole Golf Club, Par 36 Parkland course, provides a truly unique golfing experience with breathtaking views across Lough Leane and the majestic mountain peaks of the MacGillycuddy Reeks, as well as some more peaceful and untouched areas of parkland. Combining a range of longer, more challenging holes as well as rewarding, shorter risk holes, makes this course perfect for all skill levels.

Maine Valley Members Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course located just outside Killorglin on the River Maine. The layout, opened in 1992 and designed by Eddie Hackett, has matured into a tree-lined course with numerous bunkers and water hazards. It plays to a par of 72/73 and measures up to 6,411 yards from the back tees, with shorter tee options available. The routing provides clear views of Dingle Bay, the Slieve Mish Range and the MacGillycuddy’s Reeks to the west, and the setting places the course centrally on the Ring of Kerry. The club was formed in June 2020 through an amalgamation of the former Killorglin and Castleisland clubs; membership is open and the club operates a pro shop on site. Visitors can play year round and the course offers green-fee rounds and group/society bookings. For practical details and bookings the pro shop can be contacted by phone. On-course features such as raised tees, two-tiered greens and a mix of long and short par holes mean the course requires thoughtful shot selection across the card. Beaufort Golf Club is a superb 18 hole parkland championship golf course located just 10 minutes from Killarney Town on the Ring of Kerry road. It is a spectacular course in stunning surroundings and is enjoyable for all standards of golfers.

Castlegregory is a superb links golf course situated between the scenic Lough Gill and Brandon Bay, at Stradbally, near Tralee, Co. Kerry. The magical colours of Mount Brandon act as a magnificent backdrop to this 5876 yard par 68 nine-hole course.The tranquil setting, combined with the excellent use of natural features ensure that Castlegregory provides golfers with an enjoyable but testing challenge.

Killarney Golf & Fishing Club occupies a lakeside setting next to Killarney National Park, with views across the Lakes of Lough Leane. The club operates two 18-hole championship courses, Killeen and Mahony’s Point, plus a 9-hole course called Lackabane. Over the years the venue has hosted major tournaments, including multiple Irish Opens and other international amateur and professional events. In 2024 the club received the IGTOA Parkland Course of the Year award. Visitors are welcome to play both championship courses subject to tee-time availability; the club advises booking early during the main season. Practical services on site include a pro shop, a driving range, and various hire options such as golf buggies, electric trolleys and pull trolleys, along with club hire. Caddy hire is offered and should be pre-booked. The clubhouse includes the Horseshoe Bar & Restaurant, which provides dining overlooking the lakes and the course. Ceann SIbéal is a members club, situated in Baile an Fheirtéaraigh on the DIngle Peninsula. Our claim to fame is that we are the most westerly golf course in Europe. Perched on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, the views from the course are spectacular. To the west are the Blasket Islands, to the east is Mount Brandon and to the north is the towering headland of Ceann Sibéal after which the course is named. We are open all year round for members and visiting golfers.

Kenmare Golf Club is an 18-hole course on the Ring of Kerry, established in 1903. The layout sits in a parkland setting with views across Kenmare Bay and the surrounding mountains. The club presents a course that has been played for more than a century and states it offers a test for golfers of varying abilities. Visitors are welcome and tee times can be booked and paid for via the club’s online booking system; the club also runs open competitions through the year. The clubhouse is centrally located in Kenmare, a short walk from the town centre and within easy reach of local hotels and B&Bs.
