Harris and, according to the club, has matured into a noted inland course in Munster and Ireland. Waterford Golf Club was founded in 1912 and is set on a hill at Newrath overlooking the city of Waterford. The 18‑hole parkland course combines two classical designers: the front nine was laid out by Willie Park Jr., and the back nine by James Braid. The club hosted the Irish Senior Men's Amateur Close Championship in 2021.
