Bandon golf course is a Par 71 parkland layout set amongst mature woodlands and natural hazards and is bounded by the original estate walls that date back to the 1700s. Holes 5, 6 and 7 are set around Castlebernard and offer a unique photo opportunity to visiting players.

East Cork Golf Club began in 1968 when Eamon and Peg Moloney converted their dairy farm into a nine‑hole layout. The course occupies a parkland site on the outskirts of Midleton, bordered by two rivers, and was designed by Eddie Hackett with construction carried out by local contractor Ned Moran. The original nine holes were officially opened on 10 November 1969 by the late Mr. Brian Lenihan, T.D.; the course was later extended to 18 holes in 1975 and the clubhouse was enlarged in 1992. Established in 1910 as a nine‑hole course, it was extended in two stages: six new holes opened in 1994 and a further six completed in 2003, with the later work designed by David Jones. The routing pairs older tree‑lined, river‑side holes with newer open hillside holes.
