Donaghadee welcomes players of all backgrounds and abilities as it celebrates 125 years of golf in 2024. Our Men’s, Ladies and Juvenile sections have enjoyed particular success over the years. All members have the benefit of an excellent practice academy, opened by Norman Drew in 2010. On the course and in the clubhouse, we pride ourselves on being a friendly, family, orientated golf club. Members’ visitors are also warmly welcomed. You don’t have to be a golfer to become a member. Situated on the North Down Coast, at the mouth of Belfast Lough, with stunning views across to the Copeland Islands; Donaghadee Golf Club was opened on the 28th July 1899. The original 9 Hole course was designed by Willie Fernie the famous Scottish professional who won the Open Championship in 1883 and was runner up on four other occasions. The current 18 hole par 71, which is part links part parkland opened in 1907. Here is what it would have looked like.

Donegal Golf Club, located on the Murvagh peninsula in South Donegal, welcomes you to a unique golfing experience. The course was originally designed by Eddie Hackett, a legend of Irish golf course architecture, and is often called the Muirfield of Ireland. Over the years the course has been re-molded by the "Master of Links design" Pat Ruddy, with Pat still dropping by to lend his expertise to the club and help us continuously evolve. A beautiful Parkland course bordering on Lurgan Lake, just 2 miles from Lurgan junction of M1 motorway. Established in 1893, Lurgan has matured into a challenging parkland course. A well wooded course of medium difficulty with plenty of dog legs. It is well suited to long hitters but is still enjoyable for the average golfer. Many improvements have taken place to enhance the course and the clubhouse. Most recently the new Golf Academy has been appointed as a GUI Regional Development Centre which will further add to the undoubted attraction of Lurgan Golf Club. A warm welcome awaits you from the moment you arrive in our well stocked Pro Shop, until you’re back from the fairways to enjoy the views and hospitality in our Bar and Restaurant

Rathsallagh Golf Club reopened in June 2016 having been brought back to its previous splendour after 18 months of hard work and investment under new ownership. The magnificent course, which first opened in 1995, was designed by Peter McEvoy and the late Christy O’Connor Jnr. It sits in beautiful parkland near Dunlavin Co Wicklow with mature woodland lining all the fairways.
