Our Club was a Founder Member of the Golfing Union in Ireland, so we have a proud history,
from the first Irish Amateur Champion in 1893 – Thomas Dickson
the only person to win The Ulster, Irish and British Girls Championship in the same year – Carol Wallace in 1968,
to the Open Champion in 2011– Darren Clarke,
the first woman to Captain an all gender golf club in Northern Ireland – Alison Chestnutt in 2022
Our Club has a long and illustrious past, yet we are a progressive and inclusive club and it’s for that reason that we were named the “Best Golf Club” in the Northern Ireland Hospitality Awards in 2019.

Bushfoot Golf Club is Northern Ireland's Premier 9 hole golf club.
Formed in 1890, although golf was probably played on the site before this, the club is one of the oldest in all Ireland.
Situated on the North Antrim Coast it is the nearest golfing neighbour of Royal Portrush which is just 4 miles away. It is a welcoming members club and the host club of the Ladies International Golf Tournament which is competed for over 4 days annually by more than 300 competitors.
Bushfoot has a couple of unique features with the Causeway Electric Tramway bisecting the course and Ireland's equivalent of the Road Hole @ St. Andrews as it's 17th hole were you have to hit over the greenkeepers shed to find the fairway.
The clubhouse sits in an elevated position overlooking Runkerry Bay and has views towards the Giants Causeway and Donegal to the West.

Royal Tara Golf Club, situated just two kilometres off the M3 motorway just seven kilometres south of Navan.
It celebrated the Centenary of its foundation in 2006.

Conveniently located less than 30 minutes from Dublin, this superb 18 hole USGA specification championship golf course is a gem nestled in the Ryder Cup countryside. Set in beautiful surroundings lined by the river Liffey, with a backdrop of the Dublin and Wicklow mountains, this 150 acre course uses the natural landscape to its fullest. Proving a challenge for golfers of all abilities.

This championship golf course is set on 183 acres of rolling Irish countryside. Stroll up the gentle slopes of the fourth fairway and be rewarded by stunning views of Limerick City and County and even the Clare Hills. This 18 Hole championship golf course has sand-based greens and tees all built to USGA standards. Co-designed by 2014 Ryder Cup Vice-Captain, Des Smyth and Irish Amateur International, Declan Brannigan, the course opened for play in 1994.
Golfers and guests can relax and unwind after a game of golf in Vines Grill and Bar/Restaurant located in the unusual glass-enclosed Club House. Excellent views of two thirds of the golf course can be enjoyed from this elevated site. Club house facilities are designed to create a pleasing ambience and supreme comfort. The restaurant is open to the public and offers excellent food in a relaxed and gracious surrounding.
