Established in 1927, Doneraile Golf Club is a 9 hole parkland course located in Doneraile, Co.Cork. Set in the fertile pastures of north Cork, Doneraile Golf Club boasts beautiful scenery with challenging golf and is regarded as one of the most stunning 9 hole parkland courses in Ireland. The layout features mature deciduous trees along with contoured fairways and the Bregogue river. New members and visitors are always welcome to our friendly club. Mallow Golf Club is located at Ballyellis in Mallow, County Cork. The course is an 18-hole, par-72 parkland layout and the club notes a long history, spanning around 100 years. The club emphasises course care and provides clubhouse facilities for members and visitors. Visitors, societies and groups are accepted and the club operates a visitors tee booking system for green-fee bookings. On-course support is available through a staffed professional shop run by Head PGA Professional Graham Conway. The Pro Shop is open seven days a week (winter and summer hours are published) and offers lessons, repairs, club hire, trolley hire and custom fitting. Standard custom fitting prices are listed on the site (iron fitting from €20; Dynamic Driver Fitting from €30) and the shop can arrange brand-specific fitting visits when required. Competitions and a regular club diary are maintained and junior/juvenile policies and tennis activities are referenced on the club website. The overall presentation is of a traditional parkland club that caters for a range of golfers, from visitors and societies to competitive members and juniors, with on-site professional services available.

Cork Golf Club. Designed by Augusta’s genius Alister MacKenzie and recently enhanced for the modern golfer – Cork Golf Club is sculpted from historic limestone quarries and unfolds magnificently along the banks of the City’s Inner Harbour. A special place since 1888.

Kinsale Golf Club was formally affiliated in 1912 and has developed through several locations around Kinsale before establishing its present 18-hole championship parkland course at Farrangalway in the mid-1990s. The modern Farrangalway layout was created on roughly 122 acres of Bandon Valley farmland and plays as two returning nine-hole loops, with a listed length of approximately 6,935 yards. The club retains links with its past sites: the earlier Ringenane course still exists and now operates as a Footgolf course. Facilities at the club support year-round play and coaching. Practice provision includes a driving range with covered and open bays, short-game areas with chipping zones and putting greens, while the on-site professional shop and PGA coaching team provide lessons, custom fitting and equipment advice. The clubhouse contains bar and dining facilities (Atlantis Restaurant) which serve members, visitors and societies and can accommodate larger group bookings. The club has hosted provincial and national events, marked its centenary by staging All-Ireland Cups and Shields finals in 2012, and lists competitive successes and notable players among its recent history. Practical visitor services include buggy and trolley hire, changing rooms with showers, and wheelchair access to key facilities.

It is the creation of renowned golf course designer Ron Kirby, whose credentials were honed on such Irish masterpieces as the Old Head, and Mount Juliet, as well as Gleneagles in Scotland. In Castlemartyr Mr. Kirby has developed an inland links style course that creates a visually pleasing yet testing experience. The course is designed to be challenging and pleasurable for players of any calibre.
