Slievenamon Golf Club sits at the foot of Slievenamon in Clonacody, Lisronagh, just four miles from Clonmel and three miles from Fethard (E91 D1F2). The course first opened in 1999 and was taken over in 2018; since then it has undergone a program of redesign and improvement led by course designer and consultant Esie O’Mahony. Changes include an extension from par 68 to par 70, construction of sixteen new tee boxes, reshaping and redesign of a number of greens, the introduction of new bunkers and upgrades to the 17th and 18th holes. The club describes the course as accuracy‑friendly, with fast, true greens, well defined fairways and graded roughs that make it enjoyable for a range of players. The clubhouse has also been refurbished and the restaurant reopened, serving meals in a relaxed setting and offering facilities for events and functions. The club runs membership options and has promoted offers such as a distance membership which includes Golf Ireland affiliation. In recent years the venue added a Mythical Legends Adventure Golf facility and the Sand Trap Coffee House. The club’s communications have also highlighted junior activity and coaching initiatives.

Perched on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, the views from the course are spectacular. East Clare Golf Club is a championship parkland course set across roughly 150 acres of rolling East Clare countryside, close to Lough Derg. The 18-hole layout, completed after additional land purchases in 1995–96, was designed by Dr. Arthur Spring and measures about 6,031 metres. The routing includes several on-course water features and offers notable panoramic views, particularly from the 6th and 12th greens. The course is known for its large, multi-tiered greens; the venue hosted the PGA Seniors Tour West of Ireland Championship in August 1998. The club’s development began as a 9-hole course in the early 1990s, gained official status from the Golfing Union of Ireland in 1992, and later opened a clubhouse in July 2001. In 2007 the members completed the transition to a members-owned club. Visitor tee times are handled through the club shop; prospective visitors can contact the club shop by telephone for bookings.
