Edmondstown Golf Club
"This is the place" These immortal words, reputed to be uttered by two members of the Maccabean Golfing Society, led to the purchase of an old dairy farm situated in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. They were probably standing somewhere on the current 18th fairway which affords a magnificent view of Dublin City. The two gentlemen concerned were looking, on behalf of their society, for a site to form their own golf club for their members who, for the most part, were unable to gain membership of established clubs. The year was 1944 and Ireland was anything but a pluralist society. War was still raging in Europe and the outlook was grim. However the land was purchased and Edmondstown Golf Club was born. initially it was a 9 hole course but over the years extra holes were built and finally in 1959, after acquiring extra land, the club became an 18 hole course. As a club, it enjoys a broad spectrum of members from all walks of life - "Doctors, Tailors and Candle Stick Makers". It is a member friendly club playing an important role in providing golfing facilities for the local community, young and not so old. It has a choir and a bridge section. It has recently upgraded the clubhouse and built a state of the art professional shop complete with indoor golf club fitting room.

Foxrock Golf Club
Ivan Morris in his book, Ireland’s Best 9 Hole Golf Courses, published in 2015, described Foxrock Golf Club as being in the Premier League of nine-hole courses with the best greens, best set of par-four holes, best short game area, and best clubhouse. He also noted that in 1971 there were 123 nine-hole courses registered with the Golfing Union of Ireland (GUI) and just 87 18-hole courses. In the intervening years, many of the nine-hole courses were expanded to 18 holes. In 2013 there were 85 nine-hole courses registered (50 built since 1971) so Foxrock Golf Club is one of only 35 courses that have survived intact since 1971. First impressions of Foxrock GC are that of a very well-presented golf course. Over the last eight years Ken Kearney the renowned Course Architect has undertaken some major course renovations and Improvements to Foxrock GC.

Stackstown Golf Club
Since the foundation of the Club in 1976, the course has grown into one of the most respected and attractive golf venues in Dublin. Padraig Harrington’s input into the design of the course has resulted in a flexible 20-hole layout which provides a challenge for golfers of all skill levels. In addition to the usual locker room facilities, the clubhouse has a snooker room and a well-equipped gym. However, the most impressive room in the clubhouse is the Padraig Harrington Trophy Room, where you can see memorabilia from his illustrious career, including his Major trophies. A fully equipped Pro-Shop and a plentiful supply of buggies provide the novice and experienced golfer with all that is needed. Our pro Richard Bridges. Visitors are always welcome at Stackstown where you will enjoy panoramic views of the city and Dublin Bay from the Skyline Bar & Restaurant in our newly refurbished clubhouse. Stackstown always maintains a warm, friendly, and lively atmosphere and is the perfect location for golf, a casual gathering of your friends, or indeed a business meeting. Whatever the reason for your visit, you will always get a welcome in Stackstown.

Newlands Golf Club
Founded in 1910, Newlands continues to be a vibrant club with active members across the ladies, men’s, and junior sections. We are a friendly and competitive club as can be observed from the banter enjoyed by the members in the bar and restaurant after competing in one of the many popular weekly, or weekend competitions. Members can also enjoy bridge, snooker, indoor bowling, and music sessions to name but a few non-golfing activities that are available.

Swords Golf Club
Swords Golf Club play at Swords Open Golf Course, an 18 hole parkland course on relatively flat terrain. The Broadmeadow river flows through the course and the naturally occurring water has been well used in the design of the course and the provision of strategically placed water hazards and features. Our Course Superintendent, Colm McGuinness, and his staff keep the course in pristine condition all through the year. Much has been invested in drainage over the years and so Swords Open Golf Course is very playable all year round and is constantly complimented by regulars and guests. We have a Putting/Chipping Green and practice nets for warming up before your round.
