Situated on the City’s doorstep and located just off the M50, Elmgreen Golf Club is a beautiful, immaculately kept 18-hole parkland course nestled in the leafy suburbs of Dublin 15. Having recently benefited from a €500,000 renovation on and off the course, Elmgreen is a rejuvenated club with a vibrant and growing membership. The Eddie Hackett designed course is located in a secluded estate with mature forestry, tree-lined fairways, and magnificent views of the Dublin mountains.

"This is the place" These immortal words, reputed to be uttered by two members of the Maccabean Golfing Society, led to the purchase of an old dairy farm situated in the foothills of the Dublin Mountains. They were probably standing somewhere on the current 18th fairway which affords a magnificent view of Dublin City. The two gentlemen concerned were looking, on behalf of their society, for a site to form their own golf club for their members who, for the most part, were unable to gain membership of established clubs. The year was 1944 and Ireland was anything but a pluralist society. War was still raging in Europe and the outlook was grim. However the land was purchased and Edmondstown Golf Club was born. initially it was a 9 hole course but over the years extra holes were built and finally in 1959, after acquiring extra land, the club became an 18 hole course. As a club, it enjoys a broad spectrum of members from all walks of life - "Doctors, Tailors and Candle Stick Makers". It is a member friendly club playing an important role in providing golfing facilities for the local community, young and not so old. It has a choir and a bridge section. It has recently upgraded the clubhouse and built a state of the art professional shop complete with indoor golf club fitting room.

Set on 39 hectares of picturesque parkland, only 6kms from Dublin City Centre and 20kms from Dublin Airport. Elm Park Golf & Sports Club was founded in 1925, the Club offers world class facilities for golf and tennis, with an 18 hole golf course, 13 tennis courts (2 all-weather floodlit, 4 artificial clay courts, 2 covered courts and 5 grass courts) and 3 Padel courts. The vibrant membership of Elm Park also provide numerous clubs and societies covering activities from bridge to snooker, to art and poetry. The clubhouse and recently refurbished sports area provide a comfortable and welcoming space to unwind, enjoy fine or casual dining, or just relax in the bar and enjoy the beautiful views.

Rush Golf Club, located in the picturesque seaside town of Rush in County Dublin, may be a 9-hole links course, but it offers the full 18-hole experience due to its unique tee box placements at varying angles. This design intricately adds to its difficulty, ensuring both challenge and interest for players. Rush Golf club was voted best 9 hold course in Leinster in 2023.

Roganstown Hotel & Country Club is home to two 18-hole acclaimed championship golf courses, Swords Open Golf Course and Roganstown Championship Course. Roganstown, designed by the great Christy O’Connor Jnr., is a challenging course set on a beautiful landscape with meandering water hazards adding an aesthetic quality to the course. Roganstown plays as well as it looks with a variety of holes that have been designed to put golfers of all abilities to the test and to maximize your overall golfing experience. Swords Open Golf Course is an 18-hole parkland course on relatively flat terrain. The Broadmeadow River flows through the course and the naturally occurring water has been well used in the design of the course and the provision of strategically placed water hazards and features.

Visitors can look forward to playing a mature woodland course with beautiful views and without any sense of being close to the city or suburbs. Grange adjoins Marlay Park and is beside St. Enda’s Park, which provide wonderful natural boundaries.

Swords Golf Club play at Swords Open Golf Course, an 18 hole parkland course on relatively flat terrain. The Broadmeadow river flows through the course and the naturally occurring water has been well used in the design of the course and the provision of strategically placed water hazards and features. Our Course Superintendent, Colm McGuinness, and his staff keep the course in pristine condition all through the year. Much has been invested in drainage over the years and so Swords Open Golf Course is very playable all year round and is constantly complimented by regulars and guests. We have a Putting/Chipping Green and practice nets for warming up before your round.

Formerly known as Portmarnock Hotel & Golf Links, the newly reimagined Jameson Golf Links offers a modern links experience that honours its classic coastal roots. The course was originally designed by Bernhard Langer and Stan Eby in 1995 and has recently undergone a significant transformation, including extensive enhancements to layout, playability, and environmental sustainability. Dramatically routed through rugged dunes and along the Velvet Strand beach, the 18-hole course offers both stunning sea views and strategic shot-making challenges.
