Swords Golf Club play at Swords Open Golf Course, an 18 hole parkland course on relatively flat terrain. The Broadmeadow river flows through the course and the naturally occurring water has been well used in the design of the course and the provision of strategically placed water hazards and features. Our Course Superintendent, Colm McGuinness, and his staff keep the course in pristine condition all through the year. Much has been invested in drainage over the years and so Swords Open Golf Course is very playable all year round and is constantly complimented by regulars and guests. We have a Putting/Chipping Green and practice nets for warming up before your round.

Glengarriff Golf Club is a nine‑hole, parkland‑style course situated in the village of Glengarriff in West Cork. The club was established in 1934 and welcomes visitors, societies and members of all abilities. The course is managed for year‑round play where conditions allow and offers practice facilities alongside use of the clubhouse and its social areas (subject to opening hours). Visitors can play a full 9‑hole round or combine to play 18 holes; Summer 2026 green fee information on the club site lists rates for 9 holes and 18 holes. Club services include hire of clubs and optional golf cart (buggy) hire, available subject to availability. The club runs events through the season and is home to the Maureen O’Hara Golf Classic festival in July. Booking is handled through the club’s tee time system and visitors are invited to check opening times and availability before travelling. The setting and the shorter, parkland layout make the course suitable for golfers seeking a relaxed outing rather than a championship test.

Visitors to the club will enjoy a challenging round of golf on the newly developed Jeff Howes course, and the variety of spectacular views from this unique location will greatly add to the experience. Williamstown Golf Club operates from the municipal Williamstown course just outside Waterford city. The layout is an 18-hole, par-72 course measuring 6,700 yards and set across about 130 acres of rolling countryside. The routing was produced by Irish architect Eddie Hackett and, at its yardage, is noted on the club site as one of the longer inland 18-hole courses in Ireland. Practice provision includes putting and other practice facilities adjacent to the course. The club runs a full competition calendar and organised activity for members: weekly 18-hole competitions on Sundays from March to October, regular 9-hole competitions including a winter league, a year-round Wednesday 9-hole competition and a Friday mixed 9-hole scramble with the ladies’ section. Each season the club stages matchplay events (Singles, Fourball and Scotch Foursome), a Golfer of the Year series and fields teams in Golf Ireland inter‑club cups and shields. The club also maintains an active junior section. Williamstown was formed by a group of green‑fee members in 2000, secured a licence with Waterford City Council and became affiliated to the national body in 2001. Membership provides an official handicap and entry to club competitions.
