Founded in 1961 and affiliated to the GUI in 1966, it is an 18 hole parkland course, situated on the slopes of Mulgannon Hill on the outskirts of Wexford town. Visitors to the club will enjoy a challenging round of golf on the newly developed Jeff Howes course, and the variety of spectacular views from this unique location will greatly add to the experience. Our spectacular course is carved through the natural Drumlin terrain of Cavan. Mahon Golf Course is a municipal course in Cork, Ireland, that operates a public booking system and a staffed Green Fees Office. Visitors can book online through the club’s BRS booking facility and payment is taken at the point of booking; on arrival all players are required to report to the Green Fees Office to check in. The course enforces a number of straightforward local rules: golfers must have their own set of clubs (sharing is not permitted), non‑paying walkers are not allowed on the course, and players should aim to arrive about 15 minutes before their tee time. There is a 24‑hour cancellation policy and bookings are transferable to another player if you cannot attend. Hire equipment and pay‑as‑you‑play services are offered: rental clubs must be reserved in advance, and the club publishes rates for ride‑on buggies and pull trolleys. Season Ticket applications are currently paused and the club publishes a range of seasonal green‑fee and membership options. The course also asks golfers to observe GUI standard dress and suitable footwear. For bookings, hire enquiries or cancellations the club requests contact by phone or email prior to arrival.

Many of the holes have different tees the second time round which makes your round more interesting.
