Due to the course’s exceptionally good drainage golf is playable practically all year round with the permanent greens always in use. Facilities available include a 10-bay driving range, lake-side putting green and a chipping practice area as well as a magnificent clubhouse with full bar and catering.

Kilkee Golf Club is an 18-hole course on the Wild Atlantic Way in Kilkee, County Clare. The present 18-hole layout evolved from an original nine-hole course first constructed in 1886. Several holes offer coastal scenery: the 1st and 2nd tees look out over the Atlantic Ocean and the 3rd tee sits above Chimney Bay with a notable clifftop aspect. The Buncrana Golf Club is located on the entrance to Buncrana and 200 meters from the Tourist Information Office and probaly better know to the locals as "The Wee Links". The sport of golf has been played on "The Wee Links" since the early 1830's and the Buncrana Golf Club has been in existence since 1890 and was formerly known as Buncrana Municipal Golf Club. In 1944 after the Buncrana Urban District Council purchased the property from the then English Landowner, the property was put in the trust of the Buncrana Municipal Golf Committee for the purpose of making Golf Facilities available to the local community.

The 18‑hole parkland course combines two classical designers: the front nine was laid out by Willie Park Jr., and the back nine by James Braid.
