Mountbellew Golf Club is a mature 18-hole parkland course that’s open to visitors seven days a week. Off the white tees it measures just 5,644 yards, but don’t be fooled – you’ll need to think your way around it. Position is everything here. Keep it in play and you’ll be rewarded with short irons into greens, but take on too much and the course will bite back. The layout keeps things interesting from start to finish. The front nine features a tough mix of par 3s and tight par 4s that can test even low handicappers, while the back nine opens up a little with scoring chances on the par 5s. In 2001 the club moved to its present location, which is one of the most scenic parkland club's in the West of Ireland. It is an 9-hole Parkland 5,256 metres with a Par 70 and a standard scratch of 69 for the 18-holes. The ladies course measures 4,764 metres Par 74.
