Athenry Golf Club is a mixture of parkland and heathland built on a limestone base against the backdrop of a large forest giving excellent drainage and remaining playable all year round. The course is located just 5 minutes off the Dublin-to-Galway (M6) motorway. We would like to welcome ​all visitors to come play our beautiful championship course and to dine in our new state of the art clubhouse. We would like you to know that all are welcome to join our club.

As I drove away from Berehaven, I couldn’t help feeling that if somebody threw a million dollars at this, largely unheralded gem of a course, it might become a serious rival to California´s Pebble Beach; it really does have that much potential.

Welcome to Co. Longford Golf Club which was founded in 1894 and has been warmly welcoming visitors ever since. The golf club is located on the outskirts of Longford town on the Dublin Road (R393) and is a little over an hour from Dublin.
