Course setup
Single 9‑hole parkland course with multiple tee positions and 10 greens. The layout is played either as nine holes or as an 18‑hole routing by using distinct tees/greens; the course plays to a par of 72. Length is cited on the site as 6,385 yards (5,839 metres) for the 18‑hole routing (another page notes the course can be stretched to 6,325 yards). The well‑known short par‑3 (2nd/11th) features an island tee to a peninsula green.
Visitor availability
Visitors welcome; visitor tee times available. Most Wednesdays and some weekend competitions are open to visitors.
Winter playability
Year-round golf; course open daily (listed hours 08:00–20:00).
Course highlights
Shoreline holes on Upper Lough MacNean; signature 2nd/11th par‑3 played from an island tee to a peninsula green (c.185 yards); ten greens and multiple tee positions creating two distinct nines.
